Privacy without fine print.
DualAspect records video on your device. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
Camera and microphone
Camera access is required to record video. Microphone access is optional and is used only when you choose to record sound. Camera and microphone input is written only into the recording you create.
No accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking
DualAspect has no sign-in, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting service, advertising identifier, or tracking SDK. The Android app does not request internet permission.
Your files
Takes are stored in app-private storage. If you enable gallery saving, DualAspect copies the files to Movies/DualAspect through Android's media library. It does not upload them.
Google Play updates
To check for app updates, DualAspect asks the Google Play Store. Google Play processes device metadata, the app version, and installed modules or asset packs under Google's terms. Google states that this data is encrypted, is not shared with third parties, and is deleted after a fixed retention period. Google Play does not receive your recordings through this update check.
Deletion
Delete a take in DualAspect to remove its private copy. Gallery copies remain under your control in the device gallery. Uninstalling DualAspect removes files held in its private storage.
