Privacy without fine print.
DualAspect records video on your device. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
Camera and microphone
Camera access is required to show the viewfinders and record video. Microphone access is optional and is used only when you enable sound. Camera and microphone input is written only into the recording you create.
No accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking
DualAspect has no sign-in, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting service, advertising identifier, or tracking SDK. The app does not upload your recordings or personal data.
Your files on iPhone and iPad
Takes are stored in the app's private Documents folder. When you choose Save to Photos, DualAspect asks Apple Photos to copy the finished files into your library. When you use the share sheet or Files, Apple shows the destinations you choose and handles that export. DualAspect does not send files anywhere automatically.
Your files on Android
Takes are stored in app-private storage. If you enable gallery saving, DualAspect copies the files to Movies/DualAspect through Android's media library. It does not upload them.
Store services
Apple's App Store and Google Play may process device and app-version information when distributing, updating, or testing DualAspect, under their own privacy terms. These store services do not receive your recordings from DualAspect.
Deletion
Delete a take in DualAspect to remove its private copy. Copies you exported to Photos, Files, or an Android gallery remain under your control in those locations. Uninstalling DualAspect removes files held in its private app storage.
